Create a more efficient attachment system on Face Shields

The first rendition of the Face Shield used an elastic band attachment system. While functional, the band was slow to install, which was causing a log jam in overall production. A quick response from the design team resulted in a new plastic strap and hook attachment system.

The plastic hook system was the key to unlocking volume production. Designed for automation, it allowed production levels to leap from tens of thousands to four million per week.
